The scoreboard read 6/1 putting the Men in Blue found on the backfoot in the beginning of the innings. However the right-handed big hitter Rohit Sharma decided to take charge and put his team in the driver's seat in the very next over bowled by senior left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc.

Rohit ensurd Kohli's early dismissal had little impact

Starc who was bowling his second over was smashed for 29 runs, as Rohit ensured Kohli's early dismissal had little impact. The Hitman began with consecutive sixes over deep point, followed by a boundary over long-on on the third ball.

On the fourth delivery from Starc, Rohit smashed a towering six over deep mid-wicket for his third six of the over, it was a 98-meter strike from the Hitman.

Starc managed to deliver a dot on the fifth ball of the over but followed it up with a wide, giving the Rohit another chance to capitalize. On the final delivery, Rohit mistimed a pull shot, but his power hitting behind it carried the ball over the fine-leg boundary for another six.

Star recorded the most expensive over of his T20I career

With that, Rohit scored 29 runs in the over, making it the most expensive over of Starc's T20I career a bowler who also holds the record as the most expensive buy in IPL history.
