Former cricketer Aakash Chopra blaming the security at Nagpur for the lapse did not go down well with the fans on social media. Former India skipper MS Dhoni was chased around the ground as a fan breached security, not that the cricketer did not enjoy it. The moment when Dhoni finally hugged the fan after the chase must have made the fan’s life. But, Aakash Chopra is worried about it as he took to Twitter to express his concern. He also mentioned that such citings are becoming common. “Serious lapse in security. How was he not even chased by the guards??? Happening too often,” his post read.

Meanwhile, a fan goes on to ask him if anyone has ever chased him around. The post made the fan read, “Sir did anyone ever chased you on the cricket ground?”

Here is how a humble Aakash Chopra answered the fan. His response read, “Nahin dost. Never did anything worthwhile.”

Here is how some other Twitter users responded:

Another fan wrote, “Sir one cannot take cigarette even in ground forget abt weapons. It was fan moment for him. Sometimes no one can stop emotions. He risked himself to meet idol.”

Aakash’s response to it was, “Brother, if it isn’t a security risk, one should allow all fans to meet their idols. Have a session where everyone in the crowd is allowed to come onto the field and met the players.”

Meanwhile, India won the match as Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets following India captain’s Virat Kohli’s 40th ODI ton that set it up for an eight-wicket win for India as they take a 2-0 lead in the ongoing five-match ODI series.
