Recently, he was in Indonesia to enjoy a vacation there. Indonesia is known as one of the affordable exotic holiday tourism destinations for middle-class Indian families because of the relatively lower currency; but for Chopra however, it was a rather expensive affair or at least he deceived his followers into believing so.

In a tweet, he revealed his food bill at one of the restaurants in Bali which amounted approximately to a staggering seven lakh Indonesian rupiah. His food bill which indicated the restaurant named ‘Indian Tandoor’ comprised of five different Indian delicacies and three bottles of water.

Fans took to Twitter to respond on the matter, some responded with humour while some were left furious – many were left baffled as to how could a meal cost such a fortune in Bali, but in reality, seven lakh Rupiah of Indonesian currency translates to approximately thirty-five hundred INR.  Chopra pranked his followers into believing otherwise, and that caused a stir among netizens.
