South African ODI captain AB de Villiers, one of the renowned players of the modern age cricket is also one cool dad. The newly become father De Villiers of a baby boy with wife Danielle recently posted an adorable picture of their bundle of joy on Twitter. The child born on July 23 has been named Abraham Benjamin De Villiers (III) or junior AB looked one little munchkin dressed in the jersey of rugby community Go Bokke! Seated comfortably in dad’s laps, Junior AB is definitely not camera shy while an ecstatic AB de Villiers loved showing off his kid to his fans and followers around the globe.
The destructive batsman wrote on Twitter with the cutesy picture, “2 AB’s and @DanielleDV27 ready for the game! #GoBokke.” AB de Villiers was to accompany the South Africa Cricket Team on the Bangladesh Tour but he cancelled to be by his wife Danielle side during time of delivery. Danielle gave birth to junior AB on July 23, which was announced by the cricketer on Facebook. He was quoted saying, “We all feel very blessed and grateful. Mother and son are both doing well.”
The pictures of the baby boy were shared by Danielle’s father who had accompanied the couple to hospital. He shared a post on Facebook that read – “Today I became a grandfather! Abraham Benjamin De Villiers (III) was born at 12:01 and weighed 3.2Kg. He is a good looking and healthy boy.”
