Hello and welcome to the live blog of the last Group A game for the Sunil Chhetri-led Blue Tigers as they eye history against Bahrain on Monday. Chhetri and Co will start favourites against Bahrain, who have not won a single game after two matches, whereas India has won one out of their two.
India beat Thailand 4-1 in their tournament opener. The Chhetri-led outfit lost 2-0 against home favourites UAE. But, even in that match, they came perilously close to scoring. The bar also denied them a goal on two occasions, but they gave UAE a run for their money. India starts outright favorites against Bahrain.

13′ After a nervy start, the Indian side is starting to find its feet. Pritam comes up with a delicious cross from the right flank but Ashique’s resulting header is not on target.
12′ India somehow manages to create some attacking play which gets easily stopped by Bahrain. The Blue Tigers look nervy on the ball. India is somehow just holding Bahrain. Bahrain has launched an allout attack.
9′ The Indian defence is under some early pressure but Jinghan stands tall and comes up with a towering clearance as he heads the ball away.
6′ Komail goes for an effort from long range but his shot is saved by Gurpreet. The rebound afterwards is off target.
Bahrain needs all three points and they seem to have done their homework.
