When Team India was in Ranchi, it was former India skipper MS Dhoni who hosted the team at his residence. Now that the team is in Punjab, local hero Siddharth Kaul took the opportunity to repeat what Dhoni did in Ranchi. Ahead of the Mohali ODI, Kaul hosted the entire team in his residence. The cricketer is not a part of the current Indian team that is hosting Australia in the ongoing five-match ODI series. Kaul took to his social handle to thank the side for turning up to his place. His post read, “Had the pleasure to host @indiancricketteam today at my residence for dinner. Thank you guys for making it a special evening for us and blessing us.”

Meanwhile, India would look to seal the series at Mohali with a win. The Men in Blue lead the ongoing series 2-1. The hosts won the first two matches and then Australia came back to stay afloat by winning at Ranchi by 32 runs.
