Smackdown started their first match of 2019 in a blockbuster fashion, all the five superstars featured in the match are some of the biggest names in the WWE, Mustafa Ali is the promising new star and one for the future. The match was exciting and action-packed, it comprised of some epic moments with some high-flying moves from Styles, Ali and Rey Mysterio while Orton and Joe added a heavyweight element with some powerful moves.

The match saw some popular finishing maneuvers from the wrestlers- Mysterio hit his 619, while Orton’s deadly RKO was picture perfect. In the end, it was Styles with his sensational 450 splash – the move stole the show literally – Styles pinned Orton for the victory through pinfall.
AJ Styles victory sets him up for another great contest with Daniel Bryan. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) takes place on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a clash that never disappoints and with both the stars having a combative fighting style, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
