Full Time Arsenal 4- Liverpool 1 All good goals and Liverpool do not deserve this scoreline. Credit to the Arsenal goalscorers, who were all impressive up front. Ramsey had a poor game but overall, Arsenal had all bases covered and leapfrog Manchester City to move to second in the table. Liverpool, meanwhile will be crestfallen given that a good display gave them nothing. Instead, they were handed their worst defeat Arsenal since 2000.
GOAL!!!90+1 Arsenal 4-Liverpool 1 (Olivier Giroud)It is the fourth scintillating strike from Arsenal and Wenger can break open the champagne. Half Time
45′ Goal!! Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool (Alexis Sanchez)Yet another peach of a goal and this is cruel on Rogers’ side, who have been equally impressive but the goals have been top drawer. Here, Sanchez leaves Kolo Toure dead with his first touch, sees a bit of space and smashes the ball to the top right corner and Mignolet, yet again, has no chance.
43‘ The second goal was rather harsh on the Reds, given how they have played this half and could have easily had the measure over Arsenal with the same scoreline. There is panic here as Kolo Toure makes a clumsy clearance and the resulting corner is away by Mertersacker
39′ Goal!! Arsenal 2-0 Liverpool (Mesut Ozil)Yet another display of class here and this time it’s from a direct free-kick. Mesut Ozil to step up and it was a rather oddly placed wall from Simon Mignolet but take nothing away from the German wizard, who slots the ball to the left corner with inch perfect precision.
36′ Goal!!! Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool (Hector Bellerin) There comes the first goal and its a peach by the young Spaniard. He works a one-two at the edge of the box and cuts inside, leaving Moreno flat footed and shoots with his left foot to the left corner, leaving Mignolet no chance.

Joe Allen shows his class here as Liverpool yet again look deadly on the counter. The pass from Allen finds Sterling, who chips the ball to the far post where the onrushing Henderson is unmarked and free but is overhit.

23′ Arsenal settle down and pass the ball from side to side and slowly get their way back but Liverpool get the ball back and make strides through Markovic’s pass which sets Sterling free and the 20-year-old decides to take a shot from oustside the box. The shot is tame and wide.
21′ There are more attacks and here is Coutinho taking a shot outside the box and Ospina takes a shot and the ball is just wide.
18′ There are more attacks from the Men in Black and Liverpool squander a great chance here. 4′: Attempt – On-target – Arsenal: Liverpool are unable to get possession of the ball and when they do, Lucas gives it away! The ball eventually comes to Cazorla, but Simon Mignolet does get his palm behind it.
1′: Liverpool get us underway but Arsenal attack straight away! Joe Allen loses the ball in the middle of this own half but Alexis Sanchez fails to bother
Simon Mignolet.
Liverpool’s biggest boost in 2015 has been striker Daniel Sturridge coming back to form. Raheem Sterling will be their enforcer in chief and so will the Englishman’s partner-in-crime from the other end, Phillipe Coutinho. There are problems for the Reds as far as bench strength is concerned and this is where Arsenal hold all the aces in the contest. Catch the Live Streaming of the match here.
The home side’s midfield has balance, creativity, physicality and goals in it. The team has been some run of form as well after trumping Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup. It should be a hard fought contest but Liverpool’s record in London does not ooze much inspiration and Rogers and his depleted side should conjure up all their might to get three points in this fixture.
