Arsenal is all set to host Manchester United in their today’s EPL fixture. The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium and it is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm IST. The match will telecast live on Star Sports Select HD 1 and alternatively, you can catch the online streaming of the game on

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are contenders for a top-four spot, and neither can afford to lose this one. The Gunners are in sixth and nine points back of fourth, with two matches in hand, while United is four points back of fourth-place Liverpool entering this one.

Also, United will eye for a 26th consecutive unbeaten Premier League game when they travel to Arsenal. Jose Mourinho’s side have set a new club record for the highest number of games without a loss in the top flight in a single season, and another this weekend would match that of Nottingham Forest in the 1977-78 season.

On the other hand, Arsenal have already lost six league games in 2017, as many defeats as they suffered in the whole of 2016. Last Sunday’s defeat at Tottenham means they are guaranteed to finish below their North London rivals for the first time in 20 years.

Other than teams, we will also witness the interesting rivalry between Arsenal’s boss Arsene Wenger and United’s manager Jose Mourinho. However, the signs look favourable for United as Wenger has only beaten old foe Mourinho once in his career – winning the Community Shield in 2015 – and has never done so in the Premier League (W0 D7 L5).

Talking about teams then, United are without Ashley Young, who was forced off with a muscle injury against Celta Vigo. Marouane Fellaini is banned and Luke Shaw, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are all injured.

Mourinho has included four reserve players in his Manchester United squad and he may rest key players like Marcus Rashford, who began Thursday’s game in Spain despite carrying an injury and appeared to be in pain when he was substituted.

On the other hand, for Arsenal, Granit Xhaka is still out. Shkodran Mustafi is back in normal training. David Ospina is fully fit, Lucas Perez is back in training but will miss the next couple of days after picking up a knock.
