Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is set to remain sidelined in the premier league game against Huddersfield Town on Saturday. The 30-year-old has missed the previous four fixtures with the gunners including crucial games against Tottenham and Manchester United.

Arsenal coach Unai Emery stated in the press conference that the German was “running and touching the ball” on Thursday.

The Gunners have been firing on all cylinders lately and have gone 20 games undefeated in all competitions but are still languishing 10 points behind table-toppers Manchester City.
Ozil is currently being treated for his back problem and the manager only hinted that if he has a slight chance of playing if he comes off from training unscathed.

Arsenal have never always had problems with injuries and that has jeopardized a lot of their performances in the recent seasons, after losing out crucial players towards the first half of the season.

The club saw two come off injuries in the game against Manchester United on Wednesday, among them was the defender Rob Holding who is set to remain sidelined for long-term as reports suggest he has sustained a cruciate ligament injury. The other player was Welshman Aaron Ramsey, and he will be assessed ahead of the game against Huddersfield.

Arsenal have also been without their captain Laurent Koscielny who has remained out since last year and also missed out on the World Cup with France.
