The 12th edition of Asia Cup will be held in Bangladesh on 25th February, 2014. Bangladesh is hosting the Asia Cup for second consecutive year and fourth overall from 25th February to 8th March 2014. Five teams comprising of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are scheduled to participate for this biggest tournament played at the Asian level. The two venues are Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur and Fatullah Osmani Stadium at Fatullah.

The major highlights of this tournament include the entry of fifth nation Afghanistan for the first time since Asia Cup has taken place. Defending Champions Pakistan will meet Sri Lanka in the finals of the 2014 edition.
