Asia Cup 2018, India vs Bangladesh Super Four: Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the most popular cricketers from the country to have played the game. The two-time World Cup winner in the twilight of his career still enjoys a massive fan following from across the cricket fraternity. And we again got a glimpse of that when he walked out to bat against Bangladesh in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018 Super Four stage.  Chasing 174, the Men in Blue were in cruise control mode when Ambati Rayudu got dismissed for 13. MS Dhoni was promoted at No 4 to join his captain Rohit Sharma, who was already batting on a 50+ score.

But what we saw when Dhoni walked out to bat was nothing short of mayhem. The crowd went bonkers on seeing the old-warhorse walk out to the center, there was deafening silence as the noise levels hit the roof.

Here is the video of MS Dhoni walking out to the middle in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Dhoni played a 37-ball 33 cameo before he fell prey to Mortaza trying to take him on over the off side. Dhoni found the fielder in the deep and Mithun did not make any mistake in latching on to that. Rohit and MS Dhoni (33 off 37) shared a 64-run stand before the former India captain gave his wicket away towards the end. India plays their next Super Four game against Pakistan on Sunday. But that wicket did not hurt the Indians as they went on to thrash Bangladesh by seven wickets to win their first Super Four tie. India will walk into the match as favourites as they beat Pakistan in the group stage by eight wickets.
