Asia Cup 2018: As Team India get ready to take on Hong Kong in their Asia Cup 2018 opener, India’s regular captain Virat Kohli has a special message for the team. He took to Twitter a couple of hours ahead of the match and his post read, “Here’s wishing Team India a super series at the Asia Cup.” This is a new look Indian team as Rohit Sharma is in charge of the squad.
Virat Kohli has been rested for the tournament owing to excessive cricket he has played in the recent past. Kohli was the highest run-getter in England during the Test series. He scored 593 runs in 10 innings. Kohli is also the No 1 ODI and Test batsman in the world.
Meanwhile, India is playing their opener against minnows Hong Kong. The latest is that Hong Kong has won the toss and opted to field first. India, on the other hand, has a debutant in Khaleel Ahmed.
