Asia Cup 2018, India vs Pakistan 5th ODI: Allrounder Hardik Pandya fell flush on the pitched after he bowled a ball to Babar Azam and had to be stretchered off the field for medical assistance. Pandya bowled the ball and after that fell flat on the pitch, he was in pain as cricketers present in and around him came to inquire if he was alright. Then the stretcher was asked for and he had to leave the ground after bowling 4.5 overs.

BCCI has given an update on Pandya’s injury and the post read, “Injury update –
@hardikpandya7 has an acute lower back injury. He is able to stand at the moment and the medical team is assessing him now. Manish Pandey is on the field as his substitute.”
At the time of filing the copy, Pakistan was 96/4 in 21 overs.
