Asia Cup 2018, India vs Pakistan 5th ODI: Babar Azam got stuck in after Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s double strike jolted Pakistan within the first five overs. They were on the backfoot when Malik joined Babar to stitch an 82-run partnership to get the Men in Green back on track. That is when chinaman Kuldeep Yadav came in and bowled a perfect wrong’un, which Babar completely failed to pick and played all over it only to miss it and the ball went on to clip the off stump. His 47 run knock had come to an end and that is what started the procession for Pakistan.
Here is the video of the dismissal:
Once Babar Azam was out, Pakistan soon lost a cluster of wickets following the dismissal. They were reduced to 121/7.
India was in total control of the match as Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav’s three-fer put India in the driver’s seat.
At the time of filing the copy, the first innings was over as Pakistan was bundled out for 162 with 41 balls to spare.
