Asia Cup 2018 Super Four, Pakistan vs Afghanistan: Pakistan Win by 3 Wickets, Post 8 Wickets on PCB Handle, Goof-up Gets Trolled

Asia Cup 2018 Super Four, Pakistan vs Afghanistan: Sarfaraz’s Men in Green scraped through by 3 wickets in a nail-biting thriller against Afghanistan in the ongoing Asia Cup Super Four match. But, what made news was not any on-field activity, but what happened on social sphere. Twitter tutored the Pakistan Cricket Board Twitter handle for getting the facts wrong. PCB Official handle posted a tweet of the win and the post read, Pakistan win by eight wickets instead of three and that is what got the fans taking the opportunity to correct them.

The post read, “It’s over! Pakistan clinch the Abu Dhabi triller against Afghanistan by 8 wickets.”

If you read the post carefully, you will spot there is a spelling mistake as well. It is supposed to be ‘thriller’ and not ‘triller’!

Here is how fans tutored them on Twitter.

Meanwhile, it was the old warhorse Shoaib Malik, who came good and saw Pakistan edge out Afghanistan in a match that went deep into the last over. Rashid Khan again came up with the goods, he did his bit by scalping three Pakistan wickets. Imam-ul-Haq top scored with 80 runs and Babar Azam also scored a 66.
