New Delhi: Kuldeep Yadav’s brilliant bowling and birthday boy Suryakumar Yadav’s steady batting proved too strong for a confused Pakistan side, as India cruised to a stunning seven-wicket win in their second Asia Cup match on Sunday.
What went wrong with Pakistan?
In the match played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. But this decision of Captain Salman Ali proved wrong. Batting first, Pakistan’s team could score only 127 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In response, India won the match by scoring 131 runs for 3 wickets in 15.5 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored the highest 47 runs for India. Saim Ayub took three wickets for Pakistan.
How did Team India bat?
The Indian team, which came out to chase the target of 128 runs, got the first setback in the second over. Vice-captain Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring 10 runs in 7 balls. Abhishek Sharma played a quick innings and scored 31 runs in 13 balls. Saim Ayub sent the openers to the pavilion. Tilak Varma became Saim’s victim after scoring 31 runs. Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten on 47 off 37 balls and Shivam Dubey scored 10 runs in 7 balls.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 127 runs in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. Pakistan’s team, which came to bat first, did not have a good start. The team lost Saim Ayub’s wicket on the very first ball.
