New Delhi: Actor Avneet Kaur, who is busy promoting her international project “Love in Vietnam”, finally opened up about the chatter surrounding cricket icon Virat Kohli’s accidentally liking one of her Instagram photos.
During the trailer launch event of “Love in Vietnam”, Avneet was asked about the increasing love she gets from top celebrities on social media. This question was indirectly pointed at Kohli’s recent “like” on her Instagram post, which created a buzz online. Avneet smiled and said, “Milta rahe pyaar… Aur kya hi keh sakti hoon (May the love keep coming…what more can I really say).”

Many people questioned the gesture, considering Kohli’s well-known public persona and private life. Later, he took to Instagram Stories to silence the chatter, explaining that the “like” was a technical error.
Virat Kohli took to Instagram and wrote, “I’d like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”
For Avneet, the accidental “like” proved to be a blessing in disguise. She gained over a million new followers and reportedly bagged 12 brand endorsements, boosting her brand value by nearly 30%.
