There is more drama in BCCI vs Lodha Committee battle as Supreme Court on Friday questioned the names of proposed Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) administrators as some of them are aged over 70.

There is more drama in BCCI vs Lodha Committee battle as Supreme Court on Friday questioned the names of proposed Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) administrators as some of them are aged over 70.

The apex court also said that there is need to reveal the names of proposed BCCI administrators now.

Earlier in the day, according to the reports former Indian cricketers Bishan Singh Bedi and Farokh Engineer were expected to be named in a six-member panel.

While Engineer is 78-years-old, Bedi is also over 70. The Lodha reforms recommend no one above 70 can hold an administrative position in the BCCI or any of the state associations.

It is also learnt that the Lodha committee has not been consulted by the two lawyers who have been asked by the top court to submit the names.
