English cricketer Ben Duckett recently commented on a Twitter post where a fan page asked ‘How good is Virat Kohli?’ after he slammed his 41st ODI ton at Ranchi. It is a cricket fan page on Twitter named Cricket Shouts (@crickshouts), which tweeted out to its followers to complete the sentence, “Virat Kohli is _______________.” England player Ben Duckett replied with a quote and said, “A joke?…………………………”. This comment did not go down well with Virat Kohli fans who trolled the Englishman over his comments. Ben Stokes seemed to have spotted it on the social sphere and he came into teammate Duckett’s rescue as his response to Duckett read, “🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ why? You may as well of just walked into a wall. Indians don’t get this type of context Ben.” Stokes feels it was a joke which the Indians failed to realise.

Meanwhile, Kohli has been in ominous form. He has recently slammed two consecutive centuries against Australia in the last two ODIs. Kohli is now on the verge of a world record, where if he scores a ton at Mohali it will be his second hat-trick of centuries in ODIs and he will become the first cricketer to do so. The Indian captain hit three consecutive tons last year against the Windies to become the only Indian cricketer to do so. The No 1 batsman in the world has a chance of repeating it again.
