In the second match of I-League 2017 defending champions, Bengaluru FC will take on Shillong Lajong FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The match will start at 7:00 pm IST. On the other hand, Shillong Lajong FC will be without Rocus Lamare as they aim for a better season. Lajong has added Dan Ignat to their squad, making him first Romanian to play in the I-League. This will be the sixth meeting between Bengaluru FC and Shillong Lajong FC. The Blues have never lost to Lajong, winning four out of five matches. The drawn match took place during the 2015 season of I-League with the game ending at one all.
Out of last five matches, Bengaluru FC have lost just one, won two and drawn as many. Contrastingly, Shillong Lajong FC are without a win in their last five encounters, losing two while rest three ended in draws.
