Big Bash League: George Bailey’s six hit the kid who was in the stands during a Big Bash League tie between Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes. After Bailey hit the ball which hurt the kid, Thunders player Sams realised the kid was in agony, he went up to the kid and in a heart-warming gesture, he signed his cap and presented it to the young fan and made his day. Bailey too met the fan after the match and gave him his batting gloves.

Here is the video of the episode:

Bailey hit a breathtaking 35-ball 52 which helped Hurricanes post a par 165/4 in 19 overs. Chasing 166 in 19 overs, the Thunders won the match by four wickets in the last over. The Hurricanes are the table toppers and have already made the cut for the semi-finals hence the loss will not affect them.

Cummins turned up for the Thunders and looked to have recovered well as he scalped two wickets, he picked the wickets of D’Arcy Short and Matthew Wade. He also went onto bag the Man of the Match award. Pat Cummins in good shape and rhythm would be great news for Australia.
