‘Can’t Wait For Rocking Kohli Performance’, Twitteratis React as BCCI Announces Full IPL Schedule
Twitter reacted as BCCI finally released the schedule for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.
After thorough planning — battling the pressure of avoiding a hectic schedule which could hamper with the fitness of the cricketers ahead of the ICC World Cup, and the potential obstruction due to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections — the BCCI ( The Board of Control for Cricket in India ) have finally announced the complete schedule for the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule.
All the eight participating teams will be playing seven home matches at their respective home venues. As the ICC World Cup will commence just days after the IPL, there was a need for balance and that has been obliged by the board as the updated schedule is well-balanced in terms of afternoon matches, weekend matches, and travel.
Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai in a much-anticipated IPL opener, which will commence on March 23.
The schedule for the upcoming IPL campaign has been released in parts by the BCCI in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls that would be a staggered process in seven phases stretched across April and May.
After the announcement of the schedule, fans all across the country could not contain their excitement to support their favourite teams in the cricketing extravaganza. The cash-rich IPL is seen as a festival in India and cricket enthusiasts long the season. The tournament will also be a great platform for youngsters to make a name for themselves in a bid to make it to the Indian cricket team some day.
From veterans and legends to contemporary stars, and budding talents – the IPL will bring all these talents togethere as they battle it out for the coveted trophy in the 20-over format tournament.
