Vidal Signed from Bundesliga (German league) club Bayern Munich for 30 million Euros. The versatile midfielder specializes in winning the ball, long-ball passes into opposition’s box to feed the striker and long-range goals. Vidal has also won two Copa America trophies with his national side, Chile and Italian club Juventus where he had a successful spell before joining Bayern Munich.
After signing the contract along with Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre, Vidal headed to Camp Nou for his official presentation.
Camp Nou’s doors were closed for safety purposes due to the ongoing construction work at the stadium.
Afterwards, Vidal is scheduled for a photo shoot sporting his new Barça jersey and a press conference.
