Copa America 2016‘s group stages were finalised and it was Argentina who cruised home with yet another quality display to get in three points on the board. Lionel Messi yet again set on the bench as the Albicelesete made mincemeat of the whipping boys of the group, Bolivia. Defending champions Chile also ensured that they got out of the group stages smoothly after downing Panama in a match that produced six goals. This tournament has thrown many surprises and from the looks of it, will continue to do so till the end of the tournament. There are some casualties too, with Brazilian coach Dunga shown the exit door by the Brazilian Football Association. The South American giants were knocked out prematurely in the group stages. Also Read: Full schedule of South American football tournament in IST, groups & time table Also Read - Armed With Assault Rifles, Robbers Storm Brazil Bank in 'Money Heist' Alike Attempt

Earlier, the Copa America saw a couple of inconsequential games on Tuesday and the results had not effect on the table. Luis Suarez might have been livid with his Uruguayan side but the 2011 winners responded with a comprehensive win against Jamaica in the dead rubber. Mexico and Venezuela played out a draw; both teams had already secured a draw. The match lacked intensity and bite. Earlier, Ecuador registered a thumping 4-0 win agains lowly Haiti, who were well and truly the whipping boys of the group to progress to the next stage of the competition.
