Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill, former India cricketer-turned-commentator Ashish Nehra on Wednesday found a way to keep his spirits high during the testing times. Nehra resorted to football as he played soccer with his kids inside his house. It is no secret that Nehra loves football and had picked up an injury during his playing days due to it, had admitted that former Argentine star Diego Maradona is his all-time favourite on ‘Breakfast With Champions’.

“I would love to play football with the team, but I have had so many injuries in the past, so I try to keep the football away from my schedule,” Nehra had said.

Meanwhile, most sporting events across have been canceled or postponed due to the pandemic.
