Pakistan will look to continue their winning run at home when they take on West Indies in a two-match Test series starting at the Multan Cricket Stadium from Friday. Shan Masood’s side had won their last two Tests against England to clinch the series 2-1 after losing the first game thanks to the spin-bowling duo of Noman Ali and Sajid Khan.

However, Pakistan were hammered 2-0 away from home in their last Test series against World Test Championship 2025 finalist South Africa. West Indies are at the bottom of the WTC table due to their inconsistency in Test cricket.

Kraigg Brathwaite’s side had started 2024 with a sensational win over Australia at the Gabba but were whitewashed by England and South Africa and ended a two-match series against Bangladesh with a 1-1 draw. Pakistan have named a four-man spin attack with debutant Muhammad Hurraira to join Abrar Ahmed, Noman and Sajid.

West Indies, on the other hand, will miss the services of experienced pacer Kemar Roach due to illness. Batter Tevin Imlach will make his debut alongside wicketkeeper Amir Jangoo, who will replace Joshua da Silva.
