New Delhi: A 14-year-old boy has hacked social media accounts of Hyderabad fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. According to a report, the teenager was eventually tracked down after Siraj had lodged a complaint with the Telangana cyber police. “The hacker gave a cell phone number as the new password to access social media accounts of Siraj. We obtained the details of the cell phone number and realised that it was being used by a 14-year-old boy from Begumpet, who is the son of a watchman,” an investigating officer was quoted as saying by Times of India. Subsequently, a case was registered under the IT Act but as per the report, Siraj had requested the police to not book a case against the boy. The minor’s brother is said to be one of Siraj’s friends.
