It was a sad attempt to rile up the Portuguese maverick. It is not the first time Ronaldo has combated these elements in the crowd. Once, when a reporter asked the Real Madrid star about the hatred coming his way, he said the fact that he is “rich, famous and handsome” has sparked off a hordes of “jealous” people across the world. Here, he is seen spurring the crowd on and in return, the crowd chant “Ronaldo, Ronaldo” too. The Albania vs Portugal match ended in the away team’s favour with Miguel Veloso scoring in the last minute.
