The Mumbai Indians edged past Delhi Capitals by 12 runs in their IPL 2025 clash on Sunday.
After being asked to bat first, Tilak Varma led the charge with a brisk 59 off 33 deliveries, helping MI post a competitive total of 205/5.
Solid contributions also came from Ryan Rickelton (41 off 25), Suryakumar Yadav (40 off 28), and Naman Dhir (38 off 17), boosting the team’s total.
In response, Delhi Capitals fell short, bowled out for 193 in 19 overs, despite a valiant 89 off 40 balls from Karun Nair.
Karn Sharma starred with the ball for MI, picking up 3 for 36, while Mitchell Santner chipped in with 2 for 43.
For Delhi, Vipraj Nigam (2/41) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/23) bagged two wickets each, with Mukesh Kumar grabbing one (1/38).
