Tyson Fury maintained to hold onto his WBC heavyweight title after he was pushed to the limit by Deontay Wilder as the bout ended in a controversial draw. It was a brave show put up by Fury as he survived a pair of knockdowns and looked to have done enough to outclass WBC champion Wilder and retain the coveted title.
While Alejandro Rochin of Mexico scored it 115-111 to Wilder, Robert Tapper of Canada had it 114-110 to Fury. With Phil Edwards of the United Kingdom scoring it 113-113, it meant that Wilder retained the title on a draw.
