A total of three teams, comprising of 13 players each, will fight it out in a tri-series. The opening encounter will be played between the Supernovas and the Trailblazers. While India’s T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been named the Supernovas skipper, Smriti Mandhana is at the helm for the Trailblazers. Supernovas have won the toss and have opted to field.

The absence of Australian players will be felt this year courtesy to the disagreement between BCCI and Cricket Australia.
