New Delhi: Suryakumar Yadav-led India and Salman Ali Agha-Pakistan are set to face each other in the Asia Cup 2025 final at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. For the first time in 41 years, these arch-rivals will face each other in the tournament’s Final clash. Tensions have run high between the two sides throughout the eight-team competition, and the final promises to be just as intense.
Ahead of the much-anticipated clash, strict rules for fans attending the Asia Cup 2025 final have been released by Dubai Police. A detailed security advisory has been issued, outlining the dos and don’ts for attendees.
Dubai Police have instructed all ticket holders to arrive at least three hours before the match start time (8 PM IST). Each valid ticket permits only a single entry, and re-entry is not allowed, meaning anyone who leaves the stadium during the game will not be permitted back inside.
Fans have been instructed to comply with stewards directions, and parking is permitted only in designated areas. The official website also states that India and Pakistani supporters are not allowed to bring flags, banners, or firecrackers into Dubai International Stadium.
Violations, including pitch invasions, carrying prohibited items, or using offensive language, can lead to fines ranging from Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 7.24 lakh, and offenders might face three months of imprisonment.
Fans engaging in violence, throwing objects, or using racist or abusive language toward players can be fined between INR 2.41 lakh and INR 7.24 lakh. Specialized police units will be deployed for the Asia Cup final, and any threats to public safety will be met with strict legal action.
India and Pakistan have faced each other twice in Asia Cup 2025, with Suryakumar Yadav’s team emerging victorious on both occasions.
