Virat Kohli faces heat after team India selected Dinesh Karthik over KL Rahul and lost by 8 wickets to England in the 3rd ODI at Leeds. England won the series 2-1 and in the process, Virat Kohli lost his first ODI bilateral series as captain of the team. Karthik came back into the reckoning after his last ball heroics in the Nidahas Trophy final and then he had a good run as the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. Kohli at the toss said the selection was purely a “tactical move”.
