Aguero was clinical as ever and scored his 2ooth and 201st goals for the club with precision and class.
This game also marked Maurizio Sarri’s first official game as the head coach. The new blues boss replaced Antonio Conte who led the South-London club to FA Cup glory last season.
The FA Community Shield trophy is Manchester City’s third trophy of the year, after winning the Carabao cup and the Premier League earlier this year.

Sarri and Guardiola are close friends and dined together on the eve of the Community Shield, yet this first experience of Chelsea’s reduced status must have left a nasty taste for the Italian.
