India cricketer Suresh Raina had to take to his social handle to rubbish the rumours of his death that is doing the rounds on social space. Raina hit back at the fake news reports and videos on social media related to his death after a road accident. There are many videos on social media which indicate that the 32-year-old southpaw is dead in a recent road accident. Raina took to Twitter on Monday to bring an end to these rumours. His post read, “”Past few days there has been fake news of me being hurt in a car accident. The hoax has my family & friends deeply disturbed. Please ignore any such news; with god’s grace I’m doing absolutely fine. Those @YouTube channels have been reported & hope strict actions will be taken soon.” Also Read - MCC Chief Kumar Sangakkara on Future of ICC T20 World Cup 2020, Says Too Early to Answer Any Questions
Raina will soon be seen during the upcoming Indian Premier League where he will be a part of Chennai Super Kings.
Not long ago, former India cricketer Virender Sehwag too had to take to social media to quash the rumours making the rounds about him running for elections. His tweet read, “Some things never change, like this Rumour. Same in 2014, and no innovation even in Rumour in 2019. Not interested then, not interested now. #BaatKhatam
It seems the reports of Suresh Raina’s death are greatly exaggerated. (Sorry, Mark Twain)!
