India is all set to host the FIFA U-17 World Cup in October this year. The official draw for the U-17 World Cup will be held on July 07 in Mumbai. Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu will be part of the draw as well.
The ace shuttler took to Twitter to announce that she will be part of the official U-17 World Cup draw. Sindhu apparently was excited about the event. Sindhu wrote, “Excited to not only witness but also be a part of Indian sporting history at the Draw for #FIFAU17WC. #FootballTakesOver Mumbai on 7th July”. The official draw will start from 7 PM IST onwards. The 24 participating nations will be divided into four groups of six teams each. India being the host nation will be placed in Group A by default. The first match will be played on October 06 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The final will be hosted at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on October 28.

Recently, Sindhu said she was working hard for the forthcoming World Championship in Glasgow. “It (World Championship next month) is a big event. I am looking forward to it and working hard for the tournament. It is not going to be easy, I have to be at my best,” Sindhu was quoted as saying by news gathering agency PTI.
