Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the notorious terrorist organisation, has given us a glimpse of their plans of destruction during the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018, Russia.

They have released four posters in which they are giving us a peep into their plans. This is not the first time FIFA World Cup has received terror threats. Osama Bin-Laden had vowed to attack a England versus Tunisia FIFA World Cup 1998 game. But that attack did not take place.

Here is the first poster.

In one of the posters, star Argentine striker Lionel Messi, wearing an orange jersey, is seen kneeling on the football pitch and a masked terrorist is there to execute him. The caption on the poster is chilling. It reads,‘Wolfs of the Caliphate be ready and steady for the season of hunting is soon’. In the foreground, a bearded extremist can be seen with a suicide bomb connected to a trigger button.

In this picture, one can see a terrorist looking at all the venues of the FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia. It reads, “O Enemies of Allah wait what’s coming”. This is a clear warning.

The 3rd picture has a person who is carrying a bomb to one of the football stadiums.

The last picture of the newest set of mocked-up images released by ISIS is the most chilling of the lot. The message is clear as it reads on the poster,”Kill them all”. The poster is curated with grey and red shades, depicting blood.

Earlier in April 2017, St Petersburg, Russia’s second largest city, was the scene of an horrific ISIS attack when a briefcase bomb detonated on the underground, killing 14 people.

Meanwhile, Russia has 11 venues for the FIFA World Cup 2018 and after this threat the security would be on high-alert to avert any terror events.
