Manny Pacquiao and is all set to take on Floyd Mayweather Jr in a mind-boggling boxing clash for the WBC, WBA and WBO welterweight titles at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. Live telecast in India for the battle dubbed the fight of the century will commence from 6:30 am IST on Sunday with the bout scheduled to start at 8:30 am. The match will take place on Saturday (May 2) as Las Vegas is 12 hours 30 minutes behind Indian Standard Time. Sky Sports have the exclusive broadcast rights for Mayweather vs Pacquiao in the United Kingdom (UK) and will have to purchase through pay-per-view (PPV). The bout begins at 4:00 am BST. US Viewers can tune in to Showtime and HBO to enjoy the action live from 8:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time. In Singapore various pubs are offering discounts to attract customers to watch the match on the big screens. StarHub TV will air the match on Super Sports PPV HD. Subscribers can also watch the match on mobile, laptop and other portable devices through Star Hub TV Anywhere.

Pacquiao fans in Philippines will undoubtedly be hooked to their screens rooting for their 36-year-old star. Viewers from the Pearl of the Orient Seas can witness the historic bout for free on ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5 on a slightly delayed basis. However, on pay-per-view through Cignal Digital TV and Sky Cable, Pacquiao vs Mayweather will be aired real-time. Before Mayweather and Pacquiao finally meet in the richest event in boxing history, they took the stage in an MGM Grand Arena on Friday filled with 11,500 fans enjoying the public’s best chance to see the fighters in person, reports Xinhua. Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs) stepped on the scales first and weighed in at 145 pounds, two below the limit. Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs) followed and weighed in at 146 pounds. Sections of the crowd roared and booed for both fighters, although the majority appeared to support Pacquiao.

14,000 tickets were released for purchase on Friday and worst seats still cost up to 5,000 dollars.  Although the contest has been set since February, it took an inordinate amount of time for tickets to go on sale due to issues between the two camps in terms of finalising the contract.
