Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli’s wife Andrea Hewitt made headlines after she alleged that singer Ankit Tiwari’s father, fifty-seven-year-old Rajendra Kumar Tiwari touched her ‘inappropriately’. The incident took place at Inorbit Mall in Goregaon West. According to ZeeNews’ TV inputs, we learn that the cricketer got into a tussle as well with the singer and his brother Ankur Tiwari following the episode.
Initial reports revealed that the elderly man touched her hand that irked the lady and she slammed her bag on his head. Soon, the CCTV footage was accessed by ZeeNews and that showed that there was no inappropriate touching.

The singer’s father also went on to lodge a police complaint after he was hit by the lady in the mall. According to Kambli’s wife Andrea also accused the man of taking advantage of the crowd present at the mall and she was playing with her kids at that point of time when the person tried to rub his hands with her.
This is not the first time the former cricketer has embroiled himself in a controversy, he had earlier been accused buy his domestic help of misbehavior.
The Mumbai cricketer retired from international cricket in 2009 even though he last played for India in 2000. He featured in 17 Tests and 104 ODIs for the country scoring 1084 and 2477 runs respectively. He is known to have two consecutive Test double hundreds to his name and shot to fame when he and Sachin Tendulkar had shared the then-highest runs partnership in school cricket.
