Happy Birthday Ajit Agarkar: Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag has a huge fan base on the social space and is known for his uncanny humour, which always seems to get his fans excited. But is his latest post wishing another former India international Ajit Agarkar as he turns 41 his quirkiest tweet ever? He got into his poetic mode once again while wishing Agarkar. His post read, “No Agar No Magar, only Agarkar. Only 2 Indians have taken more ODI wickets than him, Anil Bhai and Sri Srinath ! Plus a century at Lord’s. Mast, Saral manus
@imAagarkar , Happy Birthday .” Also Read - SA vs ENG 2020, 2nd T20I Match Report: Dawid Malan's Fifty Guides England to Four-Wicket Win vs South Africa; Visitors Take Unassailable 2-0 Lead
From making his debut at the age of 20 to scalping 288 wickets in 191 matches, Agarkar stood out amongst his peers as a much-needed seamer and an all-rounder.
He has also been part of some historic wins for India. The one that comes to mind straight away is his match-winning spell against Australia in Adelaide in the 2003-04 series, where his six-fer rattled the hosts and set it up for India.
He was also India’s fastest to 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 ODI wickets apart from holding the record for the fastest fifty by an Indian in ODI history. He scored 50 off 21 balls vs Zimbabwe.
The Mumbaikar was sure a legend in his own right.
