Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan celebrated his 33rd birthday on 5th December, Wednesday and from legends to cotemporary stars, everyone took to social media to wish the Delhi Daredevils batsman.
Dhawan has been left out of the current test series between India and Australia, but he participated in the T20I format and was named the ‘man if the series’ after the conclusion of the series.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also wished the star by posting a video of his sensational century-knock. Legends of the yesteryears including Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammed Kaif, Virender Sehwag extended their greetings while contemporary stars like Jasprit Bumrah, Suresh Raina and Krunal Pandya among others wished him.
Virender Sehwag resorted to his comical fashion as he wished Dhawan, “Moochhe hon toh Nathulal jaisi hon, warna Gabbar jaisi hon. Happy Birthday @SDhawan25 ! Aise hi moochon aur bowlers ko ainthte raho”, he wrote.
Later, Dhawan posted a video thanking everyone for the wishes.
Many happy returns of the day, @SDhawan25! Wishing you a great year ahead. Keep the runs flowing, wished Sachin.
Although he is left out of the test series, Dhawan has insisted that he will train harder and will look to make a comeback in the long format. The left-batsman has now set his eyes on the 2019 World Cup.
