The world cannot keep calm as modern day legend – Virat Kohli turned 30 on Monday and the whole cricket community celebrated its festival of festivals with gusto, showering accolades while wishing the man who is fast attaining the status of a deity. From former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to Team India head coach Ravi Shastri to many current and former cricketers wished Kohli on his special day. However, there among the plethora of congratulatory messages for the skipper, there is one unique wish which stood out which came from none other than Kohli’s teammate – Ravindra Jadeja.

Jadeja makes a strange request to the captain and asked him to change his eating habits a bit. It is a well-documented fact that Kohli’s pays special attention on his diet and fitness and pushes himself continuously to attain the top level. But this cheeky wish definitely needs a special mention as the all-rounder pulled his captain’s leg in the best possible manner.

“Score loads of runs and I think you start eating roti, rice and lot of sweets,” Jadeja said.

Earlier, Dhoni who shares great chemistry and bond with Kohli also made a few revelations in a special video made by BCCI. Dhoni knows quite a few of Kohli’s secrets and also knows that he is a die-hard PUBG fan.

“Wish you a very happy birthday. I know you are a big PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) fan and I just found this old picture of yours. So, why don’t you come and teach Manish Pandey how to play a first-person shooting game,” said MSD.

Team India’s latest sensation – Rishabh Pant also came up with an interesting advice to offer to the recently turned 30-year-old. The explosive wicketkeeper-batsman joked that party is due and the India captain should improve his FIFA skills as well.

“Your party is due and when we meet again, we have to play FIFA and you are losing again. I am 1-0 up. So, you need to improve your FIFA game also,” said Pant jokingly.

A batsman par excellence with a plethora of records to his name, Kohli is spending his birthday with wife Anushka Sharma in Haridwar.

Kohli’s better half, Anushka also showered love on his superstar husband and posted a warming birthday wish on his official Twitter handle , “Thank God for his birth.”
