It is not over yet for allrounder Hardik Pandya, top order batsman KL Rahul and filmmaker Karan Johar as a case has been registered against the trio in Jodhpur over their comments made on the talk show in December last year. Karan Johar was the host of the popular talk show where Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul made misogynistic comments which did not go down well with the masses. The cricketers faced immediate suspension as both were called back from New Zealand where they were a part of the Indian team for the limited overs internationals. The suspensions were lifted and Hardik Pandya was drafted into the team for the 3rd ODI, whereas KL Rahul was picked for India A.

Meanwhile, the host of the show Karan Johar also apologised as he took the blame for asking such frivolous questions. But it seems trouble is far from over after a case has been registered against the trio in Jodhpur.

Currently, Pandya is in New Zealand and is slated to make the XI for the 1st T20I. The Indian cricket team will look to conclude their final tour ahead of the world cup on a high and a win against the Blackcaps at the Westpac Stadium on Wednesday will provide them a boost to maintain their momentum. Veteran India wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni also returned to the T20I squad after a long hiatus. The Ranchi stumper last featured in a T20 match in July. In the absence of regular skipper Virat Kohli who has been rested, Rohit Sharma will lead the squad and will be aiming to repeat the result of the ODI series.
