HERO SUPER CUP FINAL 2018 LATEST UPDATES: Hello and welcome to the live commentary of the final match between East Bengal and Bengaluru FC from the Kalinga Stadium in Bhuvneshwar. It will be a I-League vs Indian Super League (ISL) affair after the Kolkata football giants overcame FC Goa and Bengaluru FC got better off Mohun Bagan.

It will be a test of nerves between the Khalid Jamil managed side against the Albert Roca coached side — who made it to the final of the ISL but failed to get their hand on the trophy of the lucrative tournament following a thumping defeat against Chennaiyin FC at their own turf.

However, for Bengaluru FC it will be the right moment to prove if they are the best football club in the country. Historic East Bengal on the other side, will be contended to put their best foot ahead in the summit clash against the Indian football giants.

Earlier, in the second semi-final we saw a 10-man Bengaluru FC came from behind in the second-half to thump Kolkata football giants Mohun Bagan 4-2 at the Kalinga Stadium here on Tuesday in the second semi-final to set up a final date against East Bengal on Friday in the inaugural season of the Hero Indian Super Cup.

Miku scored a second-half hat-trick (63rd minute, 65th and 88th penalty) and skipper, talisman Sunil Chhetri (90th) scored the breather for Bengaluru FC after Dipanda Dicka put Mohun bagan in to the lead in the 42nd minute. The Cameroonian also earned a consolation the injury time (90+2’), which was not enough for the Kolkata side to stay alive in the newly formed tournament.
