Hero Super Cup to be Broadcasted in Five Languages on Star Network

After the exhilarating season of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) and Hero I-League, the Indian football fans now have an opportunity to cheer for their favourite team in the upcoming Hero Super Cup.

New Delhi: The inaugural season of the Hero Super Cup which is slated to get underway from March 31, 2018, will be broadcasted in five languages on Star network.   

 After the exhilarating season of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) and Hero I-League, the Indian football fans now have an opportunity to cheer for their favourite team in the upcoming Hero Super Cup.

The marquee Indian football tournament will feature the best I-League and Indian Super League (ISL) club.

The first of its kind knockout tournament will be telecasted in English, Tamil, Bangla, Kannada and Malayalam across six channels.

A Star India spokesperson said: “ISL and I-League have given Indian football fans many reasons to celebrate the beautiful game and the recent success and competitiveness of both the leagues in India is an indicator of India’s ever-growing love for football.

“For the first time, Star will broadcast the Hero Super Cup in five languages which will enable football fans across the country to enjoy their favourite game in their favourite language.”

The Star network also bought the live telecast of qualifiers of the tournament from Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar. The Tournament will also be telecasted on Hotstar.
