Earlier in the day, the Indian team landed in New Delhi from Barbados on a Charter Flight at 6 AM IST. Following a brief rest, the whole Indian team met PM Modi at the latter’s residence for breakfast.

Hats off to him,’ said the Indian skipper before the Wankhede crowd started chanting “Hardik! Hardik!”. The Indian all-rounder broke into a smile, stood up and waved at the crowd.
