'I am a big fan of.....': RCB captain Rajat Patidar has respect for THIS Rs 11.50 crore player, his name is...

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar played the role of an impact player in some matches due to injury, but he made a brilliant comeback as captain in Qualifier 1. In this match held on 29 May, RCB defeated Punjab Kings by 8 wickets to make it to the final of IPL 2025.

Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma became the architects of this victory, who took three wickets each and bundled out Punjab for 101 runs in just 14.3 overs. Hazelwood did wonders with the new ball, while Suyash troubled the batsmen a lot with his googly in the middle overs.

Phil Salt’s stormy innings

RCB got off to a great start chasing the target. Phil Salt scored an unbeaten 57 off 26 balls, which included 6 fours and 3 sixes. His innings ended the match in just 10 overs.

Rajat Patidar praised the players
After the match, Patidar said, “We were clear about our plans. The fast bowlers took full advantage of the pitch. Suyash bowled brilliantly in the middle overs. It was difficult to recognize his googly. I don’t give him much instructions because it is important to keep things simple.”

In the end, Patidar thanked the RCB fans. He said, “Not only at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, our fans have supported us at every ground. Now only one more match is left and we will celebrate together.”

Clash at Narendra Modi Stadium in the final
RCB will now face the winner of Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on June 3. Fans are hopeful that the team will be successful in lifting the IPL trophy for the first time.
