New Delhi: Team India’s opening batsman Rohit Sharma extended his wishes to the Under-19 team on behalf of the Indian cricket squad. The Rahul Dravid-coached team has made into the headlines by reaching the finals of the ICC U19 World Cup currently being played in New Zealand where they face Australia on Saturday. India U-19 team has been unstoppable so far and they will be aiming to lift record fourth title. With Prithvi Shaw-led team preparing for the final, Rohit Sharma applauded their tremendous efforts throughout the tournament and wished them luck to bring the cup back to India. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of India’s ODI vice-captain on their official Twitter account and captioned it, “The #MenInBlue are rooting for the #BoysInBlue all the way from South Africa #U19CWC”. Rohit said, “Throughout the Test series, we have been following their journey to the finals. I think they have played some really good cricket. We always thought this team has something special in them with Rahul Dravid being their coach. We know the team will do their best. Every game they have played they have destroyed the opposition”.

“Fast bowling has been very impressive, everybody has been talking about their bowling attack. Hope they do the same in the final. I know winning the championship is never easy. Entire Indian cricket team is watching them play here, on behalf of the full squad we hope they can bring the cup back to India”, he added.
