IND-W vs AUS-W Highlights: India started their innings cautiously, reaching 28 runs for the loss of two wickets in the first 5.1 overs against Australia in the T20 World Cup. Shafali Verma was the first to go, dismissed by Amanda Gardner for just 4 runs. This marked the fifth time Verma has fallen to Gardner in T20Is.

Smriti Mandhana aimed to stabilize the innings but fell to a close lbw call from Sophie Molineux for 8 runs, leaving India at 20 for 2 in 4.3 overs.

Jemimah Rodrigues provided some resistance, hitting back-to-back boundaries to boost the score to 28 runs. Despite the early losses, India was determined to chase down Australia’s total of 151 runs, requiring strong partnerships to remain competitive in the match.

Australia managed to score 151 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs against India in the T20 World Cup match held in Sharjah. Grace Harris was the standout performer for Australia, scoring a solid 40 runs, while Ellyse Perry and Tahlia McGrath each contributed 32 runs.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Australia faced a challenging start. Renuka Singh was instrumental with the ball for India, claiming two wickets for 23 runs in her four overs. Deepti Sharma also picked up two wickets, demonstrating her effectiveness in the middle overs. Additionally, Shreyanka Patil, Pooja Vastrakar, and Radha Yadav each chipped in with a wicket, while one Australian batter was run out.
